This was the first recording after original guitarist Andy left the band to pursue a career down in London. After Andy's last gig in the Harrogate Arms, which Joe 90 also played, Lee, one of Joe 90's guitarists, offered to join temporarily until we found someone else, rather than just split up. (an offer I am sure he has regretted ever since, ha ha) Around this time Aaron left The Write Offs and Dave, wanting a break from singing, got Aaron to join also. These songs, along with the Joe 90 songs, were recorded live in a few hours on the same day, at Huddersfield College Studio. They are rough and ready and came out surprisingly well, considering all the cocking about in the studio and the lack of time to record them in.
